Based on the sensuous Indian Raga Rageshri, this 13 minute two-part song is a journey of the human heart learning to listen to the soul’s knowing. It begins with an Intro (Alap) of tender weavings of Peruquois’ intimate earthy voice and Indian Harp (Swarmandel) with Praful’s golden liquid improvised melodies. Hip-moving elements of tabla, deep earthern rhythms and saxophone, climax in a joyous full-bodied celebration, exalting the Beloved. (Maxi single)
